The representatives from the eight (8) leading medical schools in China, the international experts, and the representatives of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health met in Shanghai to work together to develop the assessment tools and procedures to be used in evaluating the students of participating medical schools. |

 | Workshop on the Assessment of Global Minimum Essential Requirements Beijing, People's Republic of China IIME Workshop attended by 41 persons from 8 cooperating Medical Schools and the representatives of both the Ministries of Education and Public Health. The purpose of the meeting was to brief participants on the scope of the project with a focus on the assessment tools and procedures that will be used for the evaluation of students' competencies, as well as to discuss the framework and content of forthcoming activities. |
